After Care
At EnPhysage we like to ensure clients have the best possible advice both prior to and post-treatment to attain maximum effect and benefit, on this page you can find the aftercare protocols for all of the treatments that EnPhysage offers.
Prior to treatment it is important to fill out a consultation card to ensure you are not contraindicated to a treatment. Treatment contraindications list conditions that may restrict or prohibit (absolute contraindications) a treatment from taking place, and should be read prior to attending your appointment. If you have any concerns you should contact your doctor.

Massage, Facial & Body Treatments

Avoid alcohol, caffeine or any other stimulants for 24 hours after treatment.

Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours

Avoid eating a heavy meal after treatment.

Rest for a few hours after your treatment.
-
Drink plenty of water.
-
Please avoid any heat treatments i.e. sunbeds, saunas etc.
If any irritation occurs apply a cool compress to the area and if irritation persists seek GP advice.
Possible reactions that may occur include: feeling sick, emotional, anxiety or headaches.
Spray/Manual Tan
Do not shower for a minimum of 8 hours.
Do not apply any deodorant or perfumed products
Avoid anything that might cause sweating.
Avoid wearing any tight clothing until showered.
Avoid swimming pools.
If irritation occurs wash products off immediately and if irritation persists seek GP advice.
Lycon Waxing
Before
-
Exfoliate prior to appointment.
-
Trim hair for Brazilian/Hollywood/Bikini.

Avoid sunless tanning and sun exposure 24 hours.
After
-
Exfoliate 3 days after treatment to reduce ingrown hairs.

Do not have a hot shower/bath for 24 hours.
-
Do not sunbathe or use solarium for 24 hours.

Use Lycon Ingrown X-It spray to eliminate the appearance of unsightly lumps, bumps and ingrown hairs.

Do not apply any make-up, moisturiser, self tan or any perfumed products to the waxed area.
-
Do not touch the area as it might become irritated.
If irritation occurs apply a cool compress and if irritation persists seek GP advice.
Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting
No aftercare required
Do NOT pull individual lashes out, wait for them to fall out naturally or come to us to have them removed.
If any irritation occurs apply a cool compress and if irritation persists seek GP advice.
Lash Perfect Lashes

Do not remove the individual lashes yourself, contact EnPhysage, who will professionally remove them for free. Pulling them out will only pull out your natural lashes as well.

Avoid rubbing the eyes.

Use a non oily eye make-up remover/Make-up. Oily products (eye cream/mascara/eyeliner etc) will disturb, affect lashes, even fall off.

Use a mascara wand to fan out the lashes.
If an irritation occurs apply a cool compress and if irritation persists seek GP advice.
Manicures
-
Wear rubber gloves when washing up.
-
Wear protective gloves hen gardening.
-
Avoid harsh soaps.
-
Dry hands thoroughly after washing hands and moisturize.
Pedicures
-
Change socks, tights etc. daily.
-
Apply a moisturizer to the feet after showering or a bath.
-
Ensure that you dry your feet thoroughly.
-
Apply a foot powder or talcum to absorb moisture.
-
When filing the nails, file the nail straight across.
-
If pain occurs in the feet, visit a chiropodist.
